Good 5v5 defensive players do not always make good PK guys. The concepts are quite different. Sometimes worse 5v5 defensive guys do better due to different reads, speed etc…

I saw someone mention Peter Bondra as an example, but there are quite a few. Terrific on PK. Lousy 5v5 defensively.

Anything is possible, but we are on a 3rd NHL coach who doesn’t seem to think it’s a good fit.

Regardless of what my username is, i'll be rooting for him when he plays us to score 3 and celebrate however he wants. Trading cost effective young highly drafted players while tanking would be something.

Kaapo is what he is. A player should be judged compared to his own standard. He is not the problem of this team. Scratching him is a POS move imo.

Kakko has never endeared himself to the core, evidenced by the fact they were all vocal about not wanting him on their line, and I think that alone has repercussions on his self-esteem and on-ice responsibility. Laf and most other kids, on the other hand, have endeared themselves to the core.
