I'm hoping watching the game from the press box and other places helped slow the game down for Kakko. Great to see him produce.

Team is 5th in the league in CF% , 7th in xG% since the deadline and yet we're trying to blow up all the lines for some reason

Here
This to me is the (theoertical) key: Chytil is a puck transporter, which Kakko is not (he wasn't even in Turku), Kakko should be great at posession down low and getting to the net. He also could bring some defensive awareness to the duo. On paper, they should work.
And you would think Laf on the other side would compliment them. If he brings his physical play.
I'd prefer to see:

Panarin-Copp-Kaako
Kreider-Zibanejad-Vatrano
Lafreniere-Strome-Chytil
Hunt-Goodrow-Rooney

But we'll never see the breakup of Strome/Panarin. In saying that, that's playing the teams best 4 centers they have
Would love to see that and you are on the money

I mean I know the Strome / Panarin combo is “unbreakable” but it doesn’t have to be.

I was watching Copp last night and thinking how great he would be with Kakko.

Adding Strome with Laf is intriguing and the way Chytil is going that might be a stronger line than we think.

Motte in for Hunt and that’s a really deep lineup

My math might be off but I think being 5th and 7th means there are 4 and 6 teams better than us.

I second this, would love to see GG try this at some point with the remaining regular season games.

"Hi, Chris Drury. Hi, everybody on the phone! It's Kaapo again? Ok, bring him over and let me take a look. Oh, last time when I said Kakko would heal in 3 weeks, I meant three months. It's just an estimate, you know?"

Clip of his shift from @TheGortonConspiracy
I mean he looks a little off, but he got up quick and didn’t just skate to the bench. Hopefully it’s minor

Hopefully he's fine. We need the Chytil Kakko duo for the playoffs. Laf should step into the LW spot on that line as well.

None of this means anything really, but if his season was over maybe he wouldn't be out drinking a glass of wine wearing cool sunglasses in doors? Or maybe he would be, idk i'm not a doctor.

I think Kaapo should give Elton John the sunglasses he borrowed back.

Dude is from Finland. I suppose he can easily handle his drink.
