What kinda production would you guys expect from him next season?

Im thinking around 65-70 points and a Calder nomination.
Expecting about 20 to 25 goals and 45 to 50 points. Potentially could have as much as 25 to 30 goals and 60 to 65 points, which I'd be thrilled with.

He's our first line RW from day one, plug in and play.

I really want to say that he is instantly our best player period. But I think he needs one more year to overcome Zibs, maybe half a season.

But I really want to believe that we just picked an 18 year old, that is instantly our best play at this moment!

Kaapo Kakko looked PISSED off majorly that he went #2.

He clearly wanted to go #1 and was buying-into that last minute hype that maybe he was going to be the #1 pick, to the point his eyes got a little wet. Have to admit, I do like the competitive fire going on there, guess the EU scouts 10/10 on competitiveness is correct.

He'll come to realize that going #2 was a blessing.

Those were tears of joy for not getting picked by the Devils and their 2 dozen fans at their parking lot draft party.

While they shouldn't force him into a role he's not suited for, I think it's very reasonable for the organization to be open to playing center. Hayes was considered a wing when he signed, but he immediately stepped into the center role at the NHL level and was/is clearly a more effective player there. You never know.

Other channel had strenght as his weakness.

When you look at Kakkos father and Hughes family you really need to question which one has more room to grow still.

Really? Out of all the things? Yeah Kakko's dad looks like a unit, physicly I don't think Hughes is ever gonna come close to Kakko. On elite prospect their weight difference is 9 kilos (20 pounds). That 9 kilos isn't the reason why Kakko is so much ahead physicly, although it helps. Hughes is gonna grow into his frame but his frame just isn't as good as Kakko's when you look at their body types not to mention his frame is about 4 inches shorter.

They had puck controll as his strenght, but strenght as a weakness.
But we all know he doesn't really have a major weakness you can blame him on.

Hughes brother still looks small few years post draft, he's never going to physically dominate this league, and Kakko could be the toughest guy to play against in this league one day.

Also I believe Spencer Knight had no weaknessess on his SN? analysis.
