Honestly I think he has disappointed some impatient people by only scoring 23 points last season. But...I can easily see him doubling that number this season after more experience, more training, and possibly more opportunity this next season. Kind of up to him to take the opportunity this season and run with it but in the end he'll still only be 20 and continued improvement is the key thing we can hope for.

I think both Lias and Chytil will be leaned on more and more as the season goes on and I'm hoping both will excel with exciting new pieces coming in and the vets to grow with them/guide them along.

Is there something specific about his playstyle that people want Kakko to be a center or is it just that they perceive centers as inherently more valuable. I guess they are by a slight margin but some of the best players in the game right now are wingers including the guy who won the Art Ross, Hart and Lindsay. I just hope they don't try to shoehorn him in as a center, if it's a seamless transition like with Aho, where it's obvious he's a center who just got his feet wet as a winger then yeah sure but otherwise I wouldn't mess with it.
