This is depressing. Pointless and totally lacking confidence.

Production wise sure but he's been a perimeter player 95% of the time here. What if teams are privy now to his skate in, stop, find the trailer (or Strome)? The passes mostly just aren't working anymore.
 
Looked really good before the injury despite not getting any points but since then just nothing.

Very worried about both him and Lafreniere. I know, I know, it's early blah blah blah but the flashes of brilliance are too few and far between from both of them and this season they haven't been playing with scrubs either.

The bottom line is we can all moan at times about Mika, Trouba, Panarin etc. but if Kakko and Lafreniere don't pan out all this **** is for naught anyway.

They’re not starting to look like busts. They’ve looked like busts the whole time it’s just that it’s been going on for a long time now so the excuses are getting harder to justify.

I’m still holding out hope but it gets harder with every game.

Been saying it for a bit, he’s not the guy we billed him up to be.

He simply can’t produce points. That’s always been an issue.

Kakko’s trade value has tanked too, so that sucks too.

He's butt similar to Chase Young right now and WFT fans are turning on Chase. Not cised.
 
Fun fact: If Kakko busts, that'll be 9 straight top 10 picks that have either busted or had their relationship with the team demo'd.

Arguably 11 straight depending on your view of Nicklas Sundstrom (1993) (add him and Jayson More (1987) to the list). 10 or 12 straight if Lafreniere busts too.

You could blame Sather for the earlier ones. Could you still blame him for the newer ones? (Unsure how long his reach currently is, or if it's his hires that are putting us in a world of hurt).
 
imo they now should of playing him 25 min in game and telling him to producing. he also playing full PP and is there at end to putting up points when empty NET is goaled. only by caontinueing reapeatening this like 20 games from now and see how he is. there is no more shy boy, passivateting player accepted. he must forcing the net playing towads net and also see how his linemates a playing. i have not seeing any game of rangers of now but i as profssor feeling what is a happening anyway. i say panarin is not so good players as they many here a thinking. he reading game good but he small and not powerful and he using very very many minites in games, which is why he has many points at scoreboards jumbotrones to pointing at if any questiniting him. same with zbibanhenad. these 2 players more points than they good. they are like pumped with false air. thereforce i say play kakko 25 min including all candyminits where he can easily having points for free like. then they can in hand having players with many points at scorebaords jumbotrone having to show up. i see he playing very limited minits already since some time back. and if linemate having not passing, having bad they, or not willing to pass and withplay then there for kakko bad is also beacause of panarin playing more and can having easily points at PP and empty net goal hunting etc.

i say let kakko having herodress for 20 games and if he not taking it then i dont know. im very frustrated with this. thinking i got running shitdesiese of this last days. hard times for many followers. i have one question. put panarin at playing 15 min maximum like kakko and see how he getting frustrated and points to scorebaords jumbotrone gets smaller or disseappearing total. also no pp time to panarin....like it ? they put him in corner kakko from beginning and he getted used to it. i say from beginning put him to playing 25 min in games. now he having 3 years of frustration going on. what they set him to do freetime? pulling up ATARIconsoles at dark apartment seeking better times?

Trade him or be patient and go Puljujärvi route.

I mean, when you compare Leetch to Fox, he was kind of a bust too.

take a breath lol. He has actually looked pretty good despite missing time due to injury. Just hasn’t come up with points yet. Too early yet
 
I guess the transition from Wing to Center can be pretty hard for a young player. If you think of it this way maybe it's not so bad?
 
He'll look great again as soon as he is away from Panarin and can actually work a cycle again.

Panarin and Strome are an extremely high maintenance duo. They need a puck retriever who is defense first and goes hard to the net in the o-zone. They can't cycle, and they don't play the possession game.
