You mean the world where most Habs fans wanted Lehky gone?In another world we kept Lehky and didn’t waste assets on Newhook.
Such a shame

29 year old Lekhonen? Y’all get too attached to complementary playersIn another world we kept Lehky and didn’t waste assets on Newhook.

The 4th liner who's special trick was to miss the net high. Joke aside, the guy really found his next level game in Denver.29 year old Lekhonen? Y’all get too attached to complementary players
Man yesterday was a tough one for him, I really like him and I’ve been defending him, but I hope he finds consistency because the package is there, it’s just the mental lapses that are sometimes just shocking
The most amusing thing is that with Guhle out, it's Barron who has to babysit Matheson.....
Defence graph i could figure it out.
Offense graph surprise me. Hopefully the data are right.
We didn't really have the cap space to keep Lehkonen without making some hard compromises elsewhere. He was an RFA and needed a new contract, and even after trading Lehkonen, Chiarot, Toffoli, Kulak, and Petry with only Matheson coming back as roster salary we were still totally capped out going into 22-23 until Price went on LTIR in the August 2022. Before that point we still had to plan for the chance Price might come back at some point. In another world we kept Lehky and didn’t waste assets on Newhook.

And Newhook is a much more talented player than LekhonenWe didn't really have the cap space to keep Lehkonen without making some hard compromises elsewhere. Yeah not really sure what the relevance even is there to compare them in the first place. The two trades don't have anything to do with one another. And Newhook is a much more talented player than Lekhonen
They're correct. And Barron had been playing better the last couple games, for sure. Hopefully he gets well soon.

I like Newhook and this hasn't even been close to proven yet.And Newhook is a much more talented player than Lekhonen
I am not a fan of Rangers or Trouba, but that hit wasnt dirty. Barron should learn to keep he's head up, he was way, way too low. Hope he gets well soon and maybe learned something from this. Thanks folks but I don’t need analytics, graphs, stat packs our word of mouth to inform me of the pathetic play my eyes have witnessed.
Hope Barron gets healthy soon, that was certainly a dirty hit.
Cheers
Okay, I appreciate your opinion. IMHO, from the angle I watched “the players head was the main target of the contact”. Trouba’s size does play into this to some degree but he’s accountable for his action.I am not a fan of Rangers or Trouba, but that hit wasnt dirty. Offcourse players should be accountable for their actions, but that goes both ways. If Barron would have kept he's head higher the hit would not have been so bad. He's head also went even lower just before the hit so there really wasnt time to adjust. Trouba didnt jump, hands werent high or anything.Trouba sure has done a lot of dirty plays, nobody is arguing otherwise. This was unfortunate and well (now when I watched it again from differentiaali angles) yeah that was really borderline hit with unfotunate outcome but nothing really that dirty.Okay, I appreciate your opinion. I love big hits and clean Vs dirty is very subjective and I’ve read support for Chara crushing Patches into the turn buckle, McLaren straight arming Zed, PK knocking out Marchand. Like I said I love big hits, PK was the cleanest of the above but plenty of fans (B’s) commented that it was predatory? What hit isn’t. You are 100% players have to be aware at all time & especially when a known culprit, like Trouba, is on the ice.
Cheers
He was also projected as an offensive d-man which has 0 offensive skills.Since 2019-2020. There is no sign this guy is trending into a top 4 dman. He lose his puck battle, he doesnt hit/block shot and his offensive upside is poor. I threw the towel in his case. I know he was a first pick, but when you look when he was in the AHL. He never stood out either
