Kovacevic has been doing good, but Barron’s ceiling is way higher. And he brings a lot more offense, today.

I don’t know why the move is done today, but medium term Barron needs to play with Montreal. Let’s make room.

Crosby’s boy is back, I’m a fan of what I saw from him in Laval. Hopefully he can impress in the big league.

He’s got some potential and I wouldn’t be quick to write him off.

I don't know if it means anything big picture wise, but Barron certainly earned a call up. Good for him , he's been one of the bright spots for Laval, the kid has been putting in the work.

Wideman has no use for us, he's there for his offense, and has the less points of all the D.

I have closely watched #52 in every Laval game. He has really come around.
I predicted he would play in Laval until Christmas.

He can run the putrid PP right now. No one in the organization can walk a blue line like this kid (maybe Mailloux).

Does he need more improvement defensively? Yes but that will come.

Wideman is a RD that simply isn't getting it done. Period.

Happy for the kid, but personally disappointed. I've got tickets to a Laval game on January 4th and Montreal is plucking the good players away just before that game; first Richard, now Barron.

I'm not sure what will be worth watching in Laval?
