That Marner miss early in the period still hurts so bad too...can't miss on chances like that in a game like this.

Does Marner ever come up big in those situations? I feel like I've seen him all over the puck and making things happen but he's always "close" instead of burying it.

The negativity in here is insane. We look good. Other than their PP and the unfortunate goal, we controlled that period.

Yup. Campbell is a beer league goalie. Good for the first save and will make the occasional highlight save or get hot. But don’t expect him to take care of rebounds and be ready for a soft per game.

Also he has the core strength of a 40 year old and is constantly off balance.

Indeed. Tampa is interfering all over the f***ing place to start this game and none of it is getting called.

It's not going to be called. You know that. I know that. The Leafs know that. The pope knows that. Despite all of that, the Leafs have a 2-1 PP edge and the refs called both penalties that stopped a scoring chance for developing. We really have nothing to complain about given what we expected.

Didn’t Tampa let in 3 goals just two nights ago. It was an elimination game for them.

How about the Tampa playing holding Engvall down along the boards who doesn't even have the puck for a solid 10 seconds, not allowing him to back check creating an odd man rush and goal. McDonagh clearly boards Bunting on the first PP, should've been a 5 on 3 but game management.

Just keep playing, we've been the far superior team despite the 1-0 deficit.

You guys seem to over look when Campbell makes a great save. he made 3 great save during the Bolts PP. He made the first save on that play. Goaltenders job is to make the first save, rebounds are the defenses responsibility. Now if your goaltender makes the save on the rebound that is icing on the cake. Vas has let rebounds but Bolts d are there for the rebound.
