Just how bad does Boyle have to suck...

for him to be traded or cut? I can't think of a worse forward in the NHL. How how how how how is this clown who uses none of his size, is slow and has no hands STILL a Ranger or even in the NHL? How is NYR management this stupid?

Also how is this no skill waste of a player a media favorite? I'd rather have any other NHL forward as well as many AHL forwards in his place. Why are we not burning him at the stake? Year after year his suckery goes unnoticed. It's tragic.

That's not his fault. He's a fourth line player that's being asked to do more than he's capable of.

If Boyle was only asked to kill penalties and play a few minutes even strength, no one would have a problem with him. Blame the guy that constructed the roster for that.

i mean i am. of course i'm unreasonably angry with boyle but the coach needs to just reevaluate and make the adjustment.

I can kind of deal with Boyle on the team. The issue is, coaches overplay him. I thought it was just Tortorella but now AV does the same ****. He's a 4th line player but doesn't get 4th line minutes. It honestly needs to stop. If it doesn't then the GM needs to trade him.

He took idiotic penalties the whole game.

Dorsett was a bigger problem than Boyle tonight IMO.

Boyle is a 4th line center. The problem is with coaches over playing him.

I have absolutely no problem with Boyle as a 4th liner and penalty killer. None whatsoever. But he should not be logging 15-16 minutes a night.

Boyle has been okay.

Too bad the Rangers have to put him into an unrealistic role, hoping he will fill in for the lack of scoring from the top six.

Many posters on this board don't really get that.
