Seattle has double jumbotrons. Is this considered the best ? Or does the big center jumbotrons that Edmonton and Vancouver have for example, just a different way of doing it ? If double jumbos was the pinnacle, you would think that Vancouver or Edmonton would have done it too. The new Vancouver one has seamless screens which I don't believe the Edmonton one has.

I'll admit, after watching some clips of Seattle from an average upper seating position, it looks pretty damn good. But big singles do offer a more traditional hockey arena look. Maybe this is why Vancouver opted for the new single.

How old are Montreal or the Leafs jumbotrons ? If they are aging and close to being updated, would they go for double jumbos or just a big single ? As Leafs or Montreal fans , do you want doubles like Seattle has or a new single ? As a Vancouver fan, I am not sure what to think. I'd like an explanation as to why we don't have doubles.

Wasn’t the shape of the climate pledge pyramid the reason they went with the double?
Was it ? Maybe that explains it. It is a unique building for sure. But even if that is true, you'd think the concept of double jumbos could be used in any building.

Here's a shot I took from my first Kraken home game in April 2022 - it took a bit to get used to (from my seat, there was an obvious one to watch but I kept getting distracted by the other one).

Halfway through the game I was too pissed at the Golden Knights to worry about the jumbotrons, and I got used to watching the closer one. It's a cool concept (and yes, it's because of the roof shape).

Heh.

Anyway watch the intro clip. I think it is hard to argue that anyone sitting on the corners doesn't have a better view than a big single offers.

I can’t speak for Seattle but the Blackhawks new Jumbotron is pretty awful imo
Now that you tanked for Bedard, I bet you'll be getting a new one sooner than later

I usually like sitting close to center ice so that would be a little annoying having to look left or right all the time to watch replays.
