Back to back holding calls pushed them back to the 42. At that point the smart decisions were to not try to convert the 30 Yards needed for a first down but to get back to the 30 for a sub 50 yard attempt from a reliable Bryant to push it to a 2 score game with about 4 minutes and change left. That and keep the clock moving to eat up time. They get the FG there force NE to score quickly and conserve TO. NE was not an explosive offense. Had the trio of slot receivers so not much over the top ability. But have the general in Brady to get them lined up and ready for the next play.
