Confirmed with Link: JT Miller traded to NYR for Chytil, Mancini, 1st round pick (protected)

Rebuilding with 31 year olds is always a great idea.I don't understand what Drury is thinking here.He should be clearing out a few older players, not adding to them.Iget that Miller is a great player and we didn't give up much...but we aren't a Miller away from contending for the Cup
He's thinking his job is on the line. Unfortunately GMs don't really care about the future they won't be around for.

Watch Laffy end up with the worst career of the 3. Or maybe they end up trading Laffy and just complete the hat trick for complete developmental disaster of an organization. Trade Laffy for Pettersson lol

My feelings on the trade

We still have 93 and 20 hugging it out and that's unacceptable.

Plus miller and Lindgren remain. Although we have a good miller now so that's something I guess.

Not seeing this as anything more than chasing rainbows. Miller is an oldish 31 in my book. However, if I were Canuck fan, I would be sick. The return is very um... below average.

End of the day, we're even older than before.

Thanks for the new thread.

I hate what this deal represents. If it signals a culture change and Krieder, Lindgren, and Zibanejad are gone in separate deals, fine.
Yeah, like, I could get behind this in a vacuum as an overall makeover of the team, if they decided to do that.

It doesn't feel like that. Until they prove to me otherwise, this is the Rangers kicking the can again because they can't help themselves.

Loved Fil but he’s a ticking time bomb unfortunately. Borgen signing made Mancini expendable and say good bye Jones with the Brannstrom addition. Now move Mika to 3C minutes as a specialist

Talk about depth on defense if you like but the team is fine on depth defensemen, what we need is a mega upgrade for Lindgren, K’Andre or ideally both.

There are plenty of third pairing types here now
