As an Oilers fan I hope they trade Miller.
Rangers should just recognize the poor situation this season sees them in and not do anything drastic to try and save it.
Come up with an offseason plan instead.
Chances of being in win now mode ended when the team cratered starting in November. Add Shesterkin going on IR and that's all she wrote on this season.Say what you will about potential locker room issues, people in this thread are talking like Drury is crazy to go after Miller. The guy has been an elite player for the last half decade. The only real concern is his age but you've got to think the Rangers are in win now mode, despite the bad year.
Doubt Van will be trading significant pieces in division.Trading Miller to keep the overpaid crybaby would be a franchise altering mistake.
Hopefully the Kings are in on Miller
As others have said, we aren’t going to be paying like 450 million on the cap for three centers that are born in 1993 (now into their 30’s), so most likely any Miller deal would have to include Zibanejad.
It’s possible Trocheck instead, but I think he’s close to the bottom of list of players Drury would trade.
I would suggest you take a look at his historical playoff statsI hope not. He's one of the few guys built for a playoff war on the roster. I think they can work it out over time. Please not Zib
JT Miller does not have negative Value, Mika has Negative Value
JT Miller is a #1 Center and has 24 points in 26 games in a drama filled season.
He is also the second best player on this team, has been a force for us in the past 3 years and the Canucks do not have to trade him.
If you retained a significant part mika contract, I would probably pull the trigger on thisZibanejad
K'Andre Miller
1st
For
Miller
Hoglander
Deal would be fair with Zib at 5.5-6 mil imo.If you retained a significant part mika contract, I would probably pull the trigger on this
Miller for Miller. 1 for 1.If you retained a significant part mika contract, I would probably pull the trigger on this
JT says "hold my beer"
Miller is very likely to fall off a cliff soon too
I mean, I know this is a joke, but K Miller is more in the range of Hoglander, not JT.Miller for Miller. 1 for 1.

How about recent history? He was our best forward in last year's playoffs. Before that he hasn't had much chance since he leveled upI would suggest you take a look at his historical playoff stats
A match-up with them feels substantially easier in the absence of JT Miller as opposed to EP who is absent regardless. As an Oilers fan I hope they trade Miller.
But the fit seems weird to me. If Miller gets annoyed at EP for being "soft", wait until he has to be stapled to Panarin and Zibanejad full time.
