With most prospects the constant yo-yoing would piss me the **** off to no end, but this only pisses me off slightly because Miller has the mental fortitude to handle it.

Though, it's nice that management has somewhat decided to use Miller in a slightly more serious than normal capacity. There's an additional 15% chance that this is for real.

Why can't we fire Sather just for the sake of making a move, rather than playing musical chairs with Hartford just for the sake of making a move?

didnt AV say he want 7 healthy dman on this home stand?? does this signal that Staal is ready or maybe a trade for a dman is on the way before the deadline??

I would seriously wonder about a prospect that this sends over the edge.

So however unhappy AV was with Del Zotto last night he's pretty much guaranteed a spot in the lineup tomorrow.

At least it seems like they're finally getting the idea that Pyatt is washed up even if they don't put him on waivers. So that's progress I suppose.

Pretty funny in a way--McIlrath gets the coveted Broadway hat one night--in only his second NHL game. Gets scratched the next game and demoted the day after.

He got the Broadway hat? He played 5 minutes.

why do i even bother watching this ****in team? I really hate the management of this club! WTF did Dylan do and why r they doin this to Miller?

This could turn the team around and Miller could be the spark this team needs.

He has spent a while in the AHL since he was here last and should add some offense to the Rangers. I think this will put us above .500 and should make the team tougher to play against.

Nah, Just kidding. This is ****ing stupid.

And it wasn't a good thing to do to Kreider either, regardless how he's played recently.

Why? Why is this oh so difficult on them?

It's not. They get called up to have a shot. They don't play well enough to stay, they go play tons of minutes to improve those aspects of their game.

It's just like practicing over and over until they get it right.

It's not hard on them in the least.

so since their are 6 healthy dman watch one of them get hurt in pregame skate vs Islanders tomorrow.. something is up.. .. unless Staal is back tomorrow..:help:

This move reminds me of an old cowboy saying: When all else fails, let your horse do the thinking.

The yo-yo continues.

Not that upset about Wrath getting sent down. He wasn't expected to stick right off, and we aren't in a position to be playing him. We're fighting for every point, we can't afford to be throwing rookies into fire the way Pitt is.

I'm actually not upset about Miller being Yo-yo'd either. He's getting shot after shot to earn and win his space, which is good. We need youth. I'm just hoping it clicks for him like it did for CK.

Give him a 3rd line role, ask him to fill it. Start there,

I would say it would be hard if they do not share the same assessment that the coaching staff does of their play. If I thought I was playing well or wasn't getting a real chance it might piss me off to be constantly asked to step in and help out only to be asked to leave etc

It's not the players job to determine if he is playing well or not. It's the coaches

If the coaches tell them to work on some aspect of their game, the player sure as heck better not reply "well I think I'm good there so I'm not going to"

I think claiming this ruins Miller's confidence doesn't make sense. It didn't ruin Kreider and it won't ruin Miller.

It just shows a lack of any legitimate vision by management.
