I bought a giant pack of Montreal smoked meat at the Business Costco. Lasted a month and was genuinely surprised at the quality. There used to be a place in mayfield, I believe it was called Bugsy’s or something similar, but they made the best damn smoke meat sandwiches. Unfortunately they didn’t last long in that spot. The Sandwich Project is top notch though 45th Ave &97 St.
I've eaten probably 10 Smoked Meat Sandwiches in Edmonton trying to chase the one I had in Montreal lol. Including buying the store bought which was the same brand as one of the famous shops out in Montreal. But I found the amount of meat given was chincey in those packages. A good Montreal smoked meat will be stacked and juicy. I haven't tried what they have at Costco though, I'll look out for it and see if it can be made at home. Of the ones I've tried, was Drifters Lounge which had a huge sign advertising best Montreal Smoked Meat, it was not. There was a place called June's Deli that specialized in it, but as I predicted they'd shut down, $18 buck for a chincey amount of meat in their Smoked Meat ain't gonna fly in Edmonton. The new Food Hall on Whyte has a French Canadian stall, there's is okay there but again not really stacked. Hadn't heard of Bugsey's or Sandwich Project though, I'll have to try it out, the chase continues.

Edit: Hey is that smoked meat at Costco only available at Business Costco location?

Montreal Smoked Meat is the bomb. I've been looking for one in Edmonton, can't find anything close.

Montreal Poutine a bit overrated.

I can't believe they SELL hockey packages that don't include all of the Hockey. What a joke. Yeh get out if you ever can lol.
Lol I always laugh how uppity Quebec people get about poutine. It’s cheese and gravy.

It does suck. Locked into a cable contract because the wife refuses to do without cable even though I'm fine with other streaming devices by now. So we get locked into the contract and what we pay for but the channels are allowed to sell of their content. When I cut cable I'm probably cutting sports alltogether. Trouble with the subcription streaming services is their all weak ass as well and selling out on their content. Same scam. Hey just sign up for 20subscriptions and you can watch all the dreck. Nah, not doing that.
The penalty for cancelling isn't severe.

Yeh Montreal is a fun City to party in. Not just at night too, they had Weekly electric raves on Sunday in the Park, think they called it Electric Picnic.

Yeah I would just head to the business Costco. They have some wicked stuff in the meat cooler that is pre sliced or in block so you can cut it to your desired thickness

Glad and surprised Nurse won't be out long term. Let's see the team come together and play some solid hockey and take the W tonight.

For those watching directly on Prime, can you RWD/FFW and are the broadcasts available delayed and next day?

My favorite team vs my 2nd favorite team on a rare night that I can actually watch the entire game. Wow.

For once I actually do feel lucky. :) No piracy required tonight!

Beaucoup de dévotion dans ce préambule.
However the images you posted were not in French. Hon hon! Punition!

Now I am going to watch the game in Punjabi cuz radio-canada is too poor to pay for the French dubbing.

Bon match!

There used to be a Dunns at the old Convention Inn South, which was really good. The Costco smoked meat used to be at regular Costco. I have to only buy it when Mrs.5 is out of town because that’s all I’ll have for lunch the entire time lol.

Safeway used to have it, but I haven’t seen it there for a while now. I’ll have to check out the business Costco and buy a year supply. They can keep the poutine though.
