Happy for Roy and hope he plays like he's here to stay. Top 6 could really use him. Reunite top line and need to develop chemistry on the 2nd. As the 2nd line goes, so do the Habs.

Cole Suzuki Slaf
Roy Dach Gallagher
Newhook Evans Anderson
Heineman Dvo Armia

Once PL is back:

Cole Suzuki Slaf
Laine Dach Gallagher
Newhook Evans Roy
Heineman Dvo Anderson
Armia

Pezzetta is 26 he's not a kid anymore. Honestly he's a nothing burger player. He's not that physical. He's not that good of a fighter. If it's a role we want to fill we should trade for one.
Love Pezz but agree with all of those and would add he’s lucky to be getting an NHL paycheck, doubt he sticks around in the NHL once he is gone from here.

I'm trying to figure how he gets into the lineup. Armia or Heineman getting scratched? or Dach?

The handling of Pezzetta is a head scratcher, show the kid some respect and allow him to look for employment elsewhere. Ridiculous

Personally, I think his extended stay in MTL was a sign of appreciation and respect. Could/should have been on waivers ages ago.

Do you think Roy’s earned his spot with his performance in Laval?

Maybe PL will push Dach harder...

It's not 2015. Gallagher is a bottom 6 forward.

Looks like he will play with Heineman and Evans. Forwards line went into the blender.

13 Caufield14 Suzuki15 Newhook
51 Heineman71 Evans89 Roy
17 Anderson28 Dvorak11 Gallagher
20 Slafkovsky77 Dach40 Armia

D pairs stay the same, with Matheson on treatment day.

What's the point of this move?

Team is at 22 players with two supposed to come back soon (RHP and Laine), Roy makes it 23.

It will be interesting to see what they do. They may eventually either waive RHP to stay in Laval or Pez with the intention to send him down.

Now Dach is back at center at practice. IF they keep him there, that makes Condotta the player to send down. Because they got Suzuki, Dach, Evans & Dvorak. Condotta doesn't deserve to be sent down. But he's the easy one to remove from the line-up. And he's basically that for the Habs. Call up when needed and be sent down when not.

Pezz has been sitting in the stand for way too long, but at this point he's the 16th forward, not sure why he haven't been waived yet.

It's possible they don't want to waive Pez because they feel he will be claimed. And they may prefer to trade him in a package in order to get something in return, however little. For me, if he's claimed, it's no loss because at this point, he's practically not part of the line-up anyways.

Probably Heienman because he scored, and MSL is a putz. Gotta keep Armia and Dvoark in at all costs and sit Pez tpp

Pretty sad that they are separating Evans and Gallagher to spread the offense lol. I was hoping for a Roy-Evans-Gally line, but that would just make our bottom 6 look even worse.

Columbus is looking for a player who hasn't popped yet(I guess a player who has potential to be more than what they are/hasn't shown what they are)

Said he doesn't see it with Edmonton, but thinks teams like Nashville, Minnesota, Phillt and others who have a young player they could part with for Jiricek

Showcase for a trade?

They're not "separating" as in the present tense. They've already been separated. The moment MSL put Dach on the wing of the first line, Evans was put at 2C between Caufield and Newhook. And Gallagher has been with Dvorak and Anderson.

But I know what you're talking about. Because when it was Anderson - Evans - Gallagher, they were the hardest working line and looked good together.
