Wearing #66
I read Lighthouse Hockey daily too.
I'm so sure if you have played hockey and know what swinging habits are? It is a politically correct/not trying to rile up sensitive outspoken young players term for now working hard and not skating hard. Nothing to do with technique--unless not playing hard is a technique. I know Thompson said "he is trying hard." I doubt he wants to start a verbal war knowing how sensitive Ho Sang can be
Its hard to keep blaming "systems or coaches" when his junior team, Canadian junior team, the isles and the soundtigers keep having an issues. Maybe I'm a bit older and jaded, have hired and worked with too many similar people, but when a person has an issue with every authority figure they play with, 29 other teams pass, it tends to be that their attitude is the issue. I hope the kid pans out, but the best thing for the isles is if he turns it up the end of this BP season, and they can use him in a deal
They’ve asked for passion, defensive responsibility, stops and starts in his skating. They’ve got it, and they’ve given him more responsibility with it. He’s adapting to the pro life on and off the ice, filling his time away by reading more (on investing, right now).
Lets all clap for the toolbag brian compton and his band of morons on his podcast yesterday that doubted ho sang would EVER wear an isles jersey.
Thats the last time i listen to that trash radio show. Just goes to show you nobody has sources like they claim.
Those guys' opinions are just...you're right they are morons.
Wearing #66
Three assists would be more realistic. The last guy I can remember wearing # 66 in his NHL debut was Gino Odjick with the Canucks, he got into 3 fights! the league suggested he change his number, lol
hopefully Ho-Sang gets a hat trick
I was at the Sound Tigers game on Sunday and had my first look at Ho-Sang since the pre-season. The first two periods the maturity issues stood out. He was doing too much stick handling and trying to be fancy. The third period, I saw a positive change in his play. His game was more simplified and more within the system they were playing. Led to an assist and a break away.
Love it!
Just imagine if he made his debut against the Pens?
This should give a jolt to the fanbase.
Garth is a clown. Can't make an impact deal at the deadline so he called up Ho-Sang to try and sell him to us as our big acquisition, now he's back down which I hope means a trade is pending
Possible explanation. They're leaving for the road trip, they want jhs to be the next guy up, however, as of now they think they will have 12 forwards ready to go Thursday. So they call jhs to get a practice in and have send him back down and will call him back up if one of the forwards can't go during the road trip.
There is a zero percent chance that is what Garth was thinking.
