Also guys don't forget that in order to eligible for the AHL playoffs, you need to be on the AHL roster at the deadline. They could have just wanted him to practice with the team then sent him back so that he is on the AHL roster at the deadline. AFter that he will be recalled. That is my take.

Looks like he might just stay with the team and it was a paper only move?

Dallas is not an east trek from NY although American, SWA, and Delta all run direct flights they would probably prefer he does not have to fly in tomorrow

Emergency Conditions NOT terminated. He will be on the ice in Dallas on Thursday.

I know. I was just having fun with this

Although the first thing that popped into my head was "did Ho-Sang miss the flight"?

Took Tavares' toast at breakfast, buttered it, not a team player. :sarcasm:

.........they give him a billy Wagner "know your role rook!"

I saw a thread in the main board about ho-sang a few weeks ago, and it was kinda awkward; it seemed like the person that started the thread was JHS, or a friend of his. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case!

if Ho-Sang is going to insist on wearing #66 I am willing to bet he is going to be a marked guy in Pittsburgh

The equipment team actually makes jerseys for every player under contract before each season -- some are sold by the team during the off-season, the rest are stripped of numbers and letterbars. 26 is a fairly common number, one that could be given to a veteran, hence why they went with 66.

They went with 66 because jhs asked for it lol. He's worn it before. He only wears 26 in places that won't allow him to wear 66.

Ok, clear cut definition here but I don't get why they sent him down originally, or even not let him on the plane and make it a paper transaction then. I guess it doesn't matte...

Do we know he wasn't on the plane?
