I can't think of a reasonable scenario where Washington can take Josh Anderson's contract on.

bullshit. he's not available. it's same OP with these trade takes over and over again.
17 is what the habs have been searching for forever. He's 27 and part of the future. He wants to be in Mtl,
and has familiarity with MSL. Hughes isn't trading him.
there are at least 10 guys who will be dealt before him lol

The idea is for him to be paired to either Tuch, Dubois or Wilson, to wreck things.

Is there a team interested?
Well the Habs are not interested in trading him unless he returns a 1st unprotected + a top prospect of our pick +

Don't actually think he's available... Can't replace what he brings to the team, still young and contributing. Unless the Habs were getting an absolute haul for him, they're just as well off to keep him through the rebuild.

The Canadiens broadcaster just said it would cost a ton to acquire him. Not sure I see a line forming.
Yeah, makes sense. I see zero incentive to trade him. He's signed to a long term contract, there was commitment made by both sides and so far both sides appear to still be content. So if they do trade him, a team would have to overpay and a trade proposal like that on HF would be torn apart.

as mentioned he's not available. He's taken on a leadership role and has been - along with toffoli - the most forthcoming about the team's efforts of late. There's many guys who will be dealt before him, or i think Toffoil, for that matter

If a team offers a top prospect and an unprotected 1st montreal would be fools not to snap accept.
