He was a BEAST tonight

He was always there…but for 3yrs he’s been running on low octane fuel (the regular season)

This guy needs high octane fuel to run his engine, it’s just the way he’s wired, it’s just the way it is.

I have always loved and have for not one second ever wanted to get rid of Josh, even though he has struggled to score in some years. So why do I say this? It’s simple….JOSH SHOWS UP IN THE PLAYOFFS!

Not only that, but he’s thrown his ego aside and bought in to this role. Does he have the talent to score 20 goals? Probably. But he’s sacrificed some offence and bought into this team and willing to do literally anything to help his team win at all costs.

We never saw this player all these years. We had a Donkey and now we finally got a powerful Horse.

Massive game! Amazing playoffs. I've got nothing bad to say about him and I've been one of his biggest critics.

Absolutely.

All the haters are saying he is "different" now but the truth is that they just aren't big enough to admit they were wrong.

He is an imperfect players and he is inconsistent... but never really deserved the hate.

He was patchy on that Cup run. Only forward that showed up against TB though.
I still was a fan of his game on that run but there were games he didn’t quite show up but when he did he was a huge factor. I think people were unnecessarily harsh on him on that run and I wasn’t one of them
