I think the lesson to be learned here is that the Leafs need to have a sponsorship agreement in place with Mars and provide free M&Ms to their fans.

Just because we got Acciari doesn't mean we dont need another one. Lafferty is a better overall player than Engvall, ZAR and Kerfoot this season. Would be another playoff-type player.

Lafferty is also better on Faceoffs and better on the PK (leads NHL with shorthanded goals). He'd be un upgraded in the bottom 6 for sure.

I would have preferred to keep him, as his style of play works in the playoffs and is currently the closest style to Muzzin that we have anywhere.

I don’t think it’s a favour, not at this time of year. We could use what he brings, so you’d have to think it’s a transaction of some type. A physical D is being acquired.

He would suit a bottom feeder needing to fill the roster or a playoff team for depth.

While I’m hopeful of the same, Schenn is an upgrade on Benn, even if it’s not by the margin we’d hope for. I do hope it’s Murphy, Jensen even Gavrikov type

Somewhat of a possibility. He could at least be one step closer (#7) to playing on some of the other teams.

I would hope it's someone like Ryan McDonagh. Give a fair price but get him with retention to help with his massive contract and have him wreck TBay for us. Perfect Muzzin replacement. But not sure if he's available.
