I know his skating is a question mark but that was the same knock on Petey in his draft year.

This kid is a July birthday so there is plenty of room for additional development over the next year compared to his peers. Should be interesting to see where his development curve is in 6-8 months

I like the pick although I am still very high on lambert.

Interesting he is only 17 yet.

I read somewhere he interviewed poorly.

Had him 5th OVR on my list. He has a 30G scorers shot but is also very smart and can make plays. Just needs to bulk up and get a little quicker. Has Pastrnak-type potential.

He gives me Markus Naslund vibes. I had this kid as a riser on draft day and wouldn't have been surprised if he was top 5.

His demeanor and the way he plays is very Naslund-like. Kid has an amazing shot.

Just how good is his shot compared to Boeser? Lekkerimaki has a great one timer, and he shoots right. If his shot is close to Pettersson's level, that would be a huge 1-2 punch on the power play.

From what I have hastily read in the 30 minutes since we've selected him; the real attribute to his shot is the ability to get it off anywhere and to create a highly deceptive release
