I'm not that surprised about his stats. The thing that surprises me though is his effort and backcheck damn it's a total 180 from how he played in MTL. Drouin being a responsible two way player wasn't on my bingo card.

Makes sense he wouldn't learn that in Montreal. He was brought it to be the guy to teach others which tbh he wasn't ready for, and thankfully no one learned from him.

All I remember of him on the Habs was trying to enter the zone by dekeing right outside the opponents blue line trying to slip the puck between someone's feet and causing a turnover hoping to hit that highlight reel move. Was so frustrating to watch.

Happy for him though, he deserves peace.
