Sorry if it's been said, curious, did Tortellini eventually leave or did McCauley let it go?
Including the most impressive 7-0 loss in NHL history.Look at the 2 rosters lol. What torts as done with Philly this year has been impressive. Bad take.
I don’t know what torts did to get ejected but the refs(police) wrongfully accuse people all the time and we should justMcCauley should have called his bluff and made the Flyers forfeit. I never would have stopped laughing.
People don't pay to watch Torts coach any more than they pay to watch McCauley ref, but you can't make a mockery of the sport like this. If you get ejected, leave the rink. Period.
What else can he do in that position? I get that you prefer nothing but what are the other choices in that moment?Standing up for himself by yelling “f you, you can’t tell me what to do!”
Profiles in courage.
just funny because that's something torts would get on a player's ass aboutMLB managers haven't worn suits in over 60 years. Coaches and managers in most major sports no longer wear suits.
And who the hell cares what they wear?
Watch the NHL suspend Torts now because of the organization comments
I think people here who are questioning why torts is being celebrated are missing the boat.
The clip is funny. At the end of the day, it's about about entertainment, and if you can't find humor in torts acting like a child who didn't get his candy, while flailing around his casted up hand, then we just have a different sense of humor. Even the 2004 alumni in the suite were clearly having alot of fun with it.
I guess it's entertaining but it's also embarrassing. He was never going to win that argument and just looked like a spoiled child refusing to leave. Not sure why acting like a baby is praiseworthy but whatever.
Hopefully none of them coach any sports, or have enough sense to recognize how embarrassing & toxic that behaviour is and won't look to emulate itIf any fan is feeling "embaraased" by it, my opinion is that it's been taken too seriously. This is hockey, not brain surgery.
When I saw it, I had a huge smile on my face, and forwarded the clip to a bunch of friends and family who happen to follow hockey.
You can stand up for yourself without looking so pathetic doing it. He made his point about hisSo let me get this straight: everyone who stands up for himself because he's getting bent over is just a crybaby for not just taking it?
Also you are the one crying about "harming the game" then all the harm was a 2-minute pause in it.
Same, thought it was funny and shared with friends - but mostly to laugh at Torts for being so patheticIf any fan is feeling "embarrased" by it, my opinion is that it's been taken too seriously. This is hockey, not brain surgery.
