cant be any worse than what vancouver is icing everynight..We need a D that can play defence.

All good points. If playoffs started today, where would you have Kulak if not with Nurse and who would you play Nurse with?
Provorov is not a legit dmanOne of those teams is going to sign him over trading for a legit dman like Provorov or Pettersson and they are going to be sorely disappointed.
That's some quality posting right here. The Leafs should be all over this, but I’m not sure they have any space for him… if only we didn’t have half the cap tied to 4 players that can’t even form a good powerplay…
No, YOU’RE qualityThat's some quality posting right here.
In that case they definitely should not look at Klingberg.vancouver needs D.
Yup, I just hope it is not the Oilers. Rather trade Pettersson. Depending on the cost. I would not trade any of our top prospect for him as we have a weak pool. I would hope a couple of 2nd round picks. One of those teams is going to sign him over trading for a legit dman like Provorov or Pettersson and they are going to be sorely disappointed.
Hope the Oilers don’t sign him. We need a good defensive D.Oilers tried to trade for him at one point when he was still healthy. He should go to a winning environment in Edmonton who once coveted him and has patience for players coming off injury to find their game (see Connor Brown).
When healthy and playing like normal Klingberg, being a Right Shot defenceman with decent offence to his game is valuable. This guy wasn’t offered 8 year deal by the Stars for no reason. (Ooof on his agent).
A 1 year show me deal that’s buriable in the AHL is no risk at all. But if he can find his game, the reward immense.
Hope the Oilers don’t sign him. We need a good defensive D.
Leafs tried this experiment and it didn't work out last time, why would this time be any different? The Leafs should be all over this, but I’m not sure they have any space for him… if only we didn’t have half the cap tied to 4 players that can’t even form a good powerplay…
He was/got injured? What do they have to lose?Leafs tried this experiment and it didn't work out last time, why would this time be any different?
Hope Oilers don't sign him. Instantly becomes their second best defenseman and actually improves the team.
The big issue, is that the signing means that our management thinks he is worth looking at for an NHL job. Any time a team signs a bad player, it's nerve wracking. If they can get him on a league minimum deal and he is willing to report to Bakersfield for an extended time to condition, I say go for it. This signing costs you nothing but cap space and even then if he is buried in the AHL it doesn't even cost that.
Signing Klingberg to that kind of contract does not preclude going after another defenseman like Pettersson.
Puck Moving D imo. Emberson is a decent defensive D. You can get a good look at what our team is right now, with emberson in the 4RHD hole. It’s fine. It’s doesn’t take us to the next level though. The next level would be lines 2 and 3 popping off with production. Something a puck moving offensively skilled 4RHD can do for this team.Hope the Oilers don’t sign him. We need a good defensive D.
Yep, that's what a 2:49 AM post should look like.Hope Oilers don't sign him. Instantly becomes their second best defenseman and actually improves the team.
top 8 team in GA...maybe #1 after?Hope Oilers don't sign him. Instantly becomes their second best defenseman and actually improves the team.
Another reason to hope it isn't Edmonton. We already have one of those.Klingberg is good alright. But only in the offensive zone. Everywhere else he's nothing but a liability.
