If this guy gets 80 games played this year, he’s got to be in the running for the least effective season by a forward in Bruins history.

I mean, of course there were less effective players…….but I can’t imagine anyone has played well over 90% of the games in a season and has done less.

The most vanilla player on the roster. Has not improved a lick since he turned pro. Skates fast in a straight line. Doesn't go the net. Doesn't win battles in the dirty areas. He's tall. Skates well. Was a first round pick. That's it. That's the resume.

I remember watching him at the World Juniors and every time he touched the puck he skated it right into a pile of bodies, like he had no clue where to go once he got the puck on his stick. His lack of hockey sense keeps him from being an effective NHL player despite NHL caliber feet. Even with strong skating he's chasing the play most of the time, gets very little accomplished. On a stronger team he's probably in the AHL. I'd be fine if he wasn't qualified as an RFA this summer. Replace him with a smarter hockey player.
