I watched Morrow 3-4 times today not pressure the puck carrier and let them walk in. Led to the final goal. Not sure why he always flails on the ice. Thanks for coming by Morrow

For a guy with 9 pro games since Dec. 04, and no NHL games since Jan. 22, he acquitted himself better than anyone could of hoped for. 1st playoff game as well, he can be forgiven for playing the rush a bit too cautiously.

I thought he moved the puck well today, made nice clean efficient zone-exits.

Given the circumstances I'm not sure one could ask for much more.

Thought Morrow played a solid game today.

Probably not in Boston but I think Joe becomes an NHL defenseman.

yikes, I suppose for not playing in so long but man, half dozen occasions he`s back pedaling when his foot speed could have easily retrieved a puck and sent it the other way rather than let a Sens player pick it up and attack

I mentioned it in the GDT during the game, I trusted Liles out there more

This is 100% true. With so little playing time I should not expect wonders.

Another and the last wasted piece from "the trade." IF either CJ or BC had any foresight they would realize that if you have an asset that's good enough not to lose in waivers then he's good enough to keep in "game shape" and not just let him sit there and lose confidence. We haven't seen this in a while but it has happened before, and it will happen again. Especially in the playoffs, having d-men go down to injury is something to keep in mind.
I thought that for a guy who has sat for so long he looked good enough, maybe if they play him on Monday he'll feel a little better out there. Wasn't Claudes system about backing in? Wasn't it a bend don't break system? Could Morrow be confused because of the lack of playing time under Cassidy? I thought that they could've done much worse by playing another kid and thought that if they did it would've bit them in the ass.
you know what? Without the mental mistakes etc by guys like Marchand, Beleskey, Vatrano, and if Tuukka stopped the 2nd and 4th goals they would have been more than fine with the defense, even with the injuries.

I thought that Morrow played well this afternoon. It can't be easy to get back into a game after several months of being a black ace.

I still sense that if the Bruins keep their composure and get lucky health wise with a couple of guys (maybe Carlo and Chiller) they can still take this in FIVE games...

Everyone in that arena knew that the Sens were dead, but nobody told the B's to throw dirt on them... Next time will be different.

I hope he has a good series, impresses some scouts, and gets dealt for a player that turns into a power forward winger. Trade salvaged. ;)

I thought he played well, all things considering. I cringed when I saw him go head first into the boards courtesy of that dangerous cross check to the back. What a ***** move by McArthur.

You would think that a guy who missed almost two seasons because of concussions would be a little more sensitive to that sort of thing? I have seen Bergeron hold up on hits that he could have smoked guys on.

That was nasty.

I thought Joe played very well all things considered which may be a good thing since it appears he will be needed

We said the same thing. And then he started hooking Morrow for whatever reason. Kind of a bizarre series of events by McArthur

Played really good. No panic in his game.

Agreed. I also thought he was one of the better dmen in beating the trap with his skating and passing. Certainly miles better than Chara, who has resorted to just flipping the puck up into the air. KMiller has been decent at beating the trap too, which really surprised me. McQuaid has been scary.

For a guy who has sat for months, largely through no fault on his part, he acquitted himself extremely well in a very difficult situation given the environment. Losing McQuade put even more pressure on the entire D but he handled his job as good as could be expected. Certainly was not a liability. Glad for him.

Guys really asking to have his career prematurely stopped the way he played...somebody is gonna try and paste him if he keeps it up

Thought Morrow was about as good as I could expect. Wasn't a world beater but he was fine. Could've been way worse

I trust Morrow a lot more than JML. The longer Liles stays in the lineup, he is going to get worn down by the pounding. If Chiller playes Monday, I want Morrow to play.

Listening to Canada media, McArthur is a hero...why I want all CAD teams to get bounced:laugh:

I thought Morrow did pretty well . Normally I would go with Liles over him but I think Morrow was better in this game. If only Colin is back tomorrow I am guessing that will be a close tough decision who plays.
