Proposal: JJ Peterka for Marco Rossi

Wild aren’t trading brodin and Rossi for a dman in Duran and the 9 th pick when they are trying to win. Besides that, they aren’t taking on any cap dump

Ekholm and a 6th returned Tyson Barrie, a 1st, a 4th and a prospect who was just drafted late in the 1st the prior year. Ekholm had a higher cap hit % and was a year older. Same amount of term left on their contracts. There's the price for Brodin

The 1st was a playyoff team 1st. Not a top 10 pick. Barrie was nothing but something move to balance out salary. Yhe prospect wasn't special.

The point stands that Brodin's value is greater than or equal to two late 1sts even if you consider 2023 Barrie worthless.

2 late late 1sts. Both peterka and kulivh alone are worth more than 2 1sts each.

Brodin is over 30 and runs a real risk of falling off a cliff before thr contract ends. The next 3 yrs he's 32-34. I

I highly doubt a team looking to become a contender, like the Wild, would trade a player like Brodin for futures. He's widely considered one of the top handful of defensive D in the league and had nearly the same TOI for Sweden in the 4 Nations as Dahlin if you're trying to claim his play had fallen off because he's 31 years old. He's one of the top 30-40 defensemen in the league and he's signed for 3 more years at only 6M

Sure. I thought the deal was Brodin + Rossi for Peterka + Kulich (whose value I am clueless on) though, not just Brodin for those two

Buffalo does not have the cap space.

Brodin for byram is a frame work. Buffalo with their RFAs to sign which byram is one, will take them to the cap.

Nope, not giving you Marcus. he won't waive anyway. he has talked about actively hating buffalo and how dead it's playing there. He also basically crap on buffalo's ownership and more. I mean with all due respect, it's just some wild fans wanting to rid of Brodin, He's not available due to wild being in win now with Kap

dude Byram has a history of head injuries and that's a fact. it's why colorado traded him. Also , Bill Guerin will never pay a player like Byram the type of money he would seek. Brodin isn't available anyway. You could keep Byram .
