Proposal: JJ Peterka for Marco Rossi

Ouch lol. Its always funny when you see a team shopping a guy. Then all the fans defend the player. If you like him so much just keep him then.
But these stats aren't even correct...

Why would MN trade a 60 point Young C? I think all us Wild fans are trying to figure it out.

But it seems Guerin values size down the middle.

Will trading Rossi bite him in the ass a few years from now. I would say from watching the games it's 70/30 that it will if it's a 1 for 1 trade. If it's a Rossi plus package for an established scoring C, then not so much.

But putting up stats on a hockey board doesn't make you wrong or correct.....unless the stats are wrong like the ones above

I mean if he somehow pulls magic and get another eriksson ek, then I am all for it. I think that's what he said right?

Knowing you have a legit scorer vs guessing on potential usually ends up bad.

If they can package for a known commodity, then I feel better

I agree. Maybe a Logan Cooley?

You're quoting a guy who gave incorrect stats.

I think that's his jam. He was in one of these threads the other day claiming blatantly false and misleading "facts" about Rossi and Hayton, and said if you disagree with him it was because you're just biased and don't wanna have a reasonable discussion with him.

Heh. You'd think that a team like us would be drowning in cap space.

RIGHT NOW, as it stands -- we've got about $8M in cap space and still have to sign the following RFAs:
Ryan McLeod
Jack Quinn
Bowen Byram
JJ Peterka (or Marco Rossi in this trade)
Jacob Bernard-Docker

AND we still need a backup goalie, so that's roughly $1M gone right off the top.

So if we did trade for Brodin -- that basically necessitates that we trade away 2 of Byram, Power or Samuelsson.

If we took on Trenin, we'd likely have to throw Lafferty back at you.......which probably isn't appealing to y'all.

We're in tough against the cap for a team that finished as poorly as we did. We have PLENTY of ways out of it though....if Adams knows what he's doing.
What would the add from Minnesota need to be to swap Kulich out for Power?

Rossi + Brodin + ? + ?
For
Peterka + Power

Lol.. Brock Faber is 22 years old and has already had almost a 50 point season... Fabers value is astronomical right now... what a horrible argument
I also judge defensemen solely on points
