Would this make sense at all? Feel like they have the assets to get him and he'd fill a long term need for a high end RD. Maybe something bigger including Provorov as well so the Jets can get an immediate top 4 upgrade?

It would almost definitely be Yager+ for Jiricek. And with Yager having a kinda underwhelming year, I'm not entirely sure that cuts it for Winnipeg.

Yager + Stanley + Heinola + 26 2nd + 5th for both of them have at it

Jets don’t need Provorov and can’t afford what CBJ will want for Jiricek.
As for Yager, there is zero reason to move him until we know for sure he won’t develop into a good 2C on the Jets

Why not on Provorov? I feel like a better #2LD is the obvious upgrade for Winnipeg to make although I guess they'd probably rather someone meaner

I think Jiricek is still not on the roster for the Jets this year and they have their own RHD they’ll want in salomonsson breaking into the NHL next season. I just don’t see it.

They have a very solid 2LD in Samberg already, he's just injured with a broken foot atm.

I still think that's where they could most stand to upgrade unless they're going to go out and get a legit top pair RD like Andersson
