Loved Ehlers' game tonight inspite of the bad penalty. Found a way to contribute even when he wasn't scoring by laying the body and creating pressure. He could have done some damage had he fully connected on that hit on Gaudreau.

Lowry great again.

Connor and Wheeler need to be better.

As I posted in the Game Day Sign Up Thread, I was hoping @The Blue Baron would give me a rubber match to work with tomorrow

Gutsy win. Dudes stepped up who needed to step up - lotta folks who were invisible in game one looked good in game two. Grinded this one out, won a lot more puck battles. Ehlers finally gets the monkey off his back, and man did he look happy.

Jets are in tough to go far with this lineup. But Maurice juggled pretty good today, and it worked. And this one was worth a decade of playoff experience for the guys on the ice.

Lots of speed out there today - other than a few shorts stints, we were all over their puck carriers.
I'd love to see this type of speed, grit and puck pursuit every night regardless of who is in or out of the line up.

Great to see Nic get the winner - he needed that more than any other Jet - would love to see the Nic flood gates open

Its time to dump Ehlers in the offseason... one fluke playoff goal on the powerplay with his eyes squinted doesnt make up for his overall horrible playoff performances the past 3 seasons. Not worth the contract.

Ehlers finally thank the lord. Just keep running Tkachuk don't care if it cost us a penalty

Ehlers is tougher than Tkachuk - baby T throws his stick 10' up in the air when he got tripped, and rolls around holding his knees pretending to be hurt when Ehlers put him on his ass.

Knee-ordano (Edm fans nickname apparently) was thankfully not successful in injuring Lowry on that dangerous trip into the end boards.

No Laine and Scheifele in game 2 and they played way better.

WTF

Who would've thought that taking Scheifele and Laine out of the lineup was the path to victory? :sarcasm:

yeah, color me surprised! Thanks Jets- you’ve shown us you guys have guts and are resilient. I still watch playoff hockey with my stomach in knots and feeling like I’m gonna barf, but always sooooo happy with a Jets win!!!

That was a character win if ever I've seen one.

Connor seems to have gotten inside of his own head, and not in a good way. He seemed to have enough chances to score six or eight goals, but he's clearly thinking too much. Hopefully some more game time will change this, but if he was one today and scoring like he can, this game could have been 6-2 or higher for the Jets.

Still, I'll take it, and take it happily.

Conner is going to break out tomorrow. Book it.

I hope your right, as Kyle Connor has looked somewhat invisible so far, and not the impact type of player he usually is. He's probably a bit up tight, but it be nice to see him get going here.

We'll need his scoring magic to win this series.
