This entire team feels like a long-con curb your enthusiasm bit. Like we've been watching them since 2016 or so with Chevy and everyone else in hockey ops talking up their character and how it's one of their areas of focus. And then we come to the past 2 weeks where Bowness is declaring the Avs game the most important of the season which is a 5-1 loss followed by the game that'll show us what they're made of and they lose 4-0 and nothing seems to have changed.
How'd Chevy keep a straight face saying this team he assembled was a cup contender
