Just for fun I just tracked the games leading up to today like playoff series. Has us winning 7 out of 8 times, 5 times going to game 7.

4-3, 4-3, 4-1, 4-3, 2-4, 4-3, 4-1, 4-3, 2-1

Fun way to look at it. Makes me think this might be an interesting motivational approach over the long stretch of a season, whilst preparing mentally for playoff pressure. Also gives you a mental reset if you drop a couple of games. Doesn't have predictive powers like 6 in 5, but I still like it!

Can we even get Pils in MB? I don't recall ever seeing it at the LC. Not that I would ever be looking for it, lol....but I wouldn't mind having some available when my Sask friends are in town.

It's at most beer vendors I've come across in cans 6's, 8's, 12's & 15's. Bottles in 12's & 24's.

Some vendors have it in King Cans as well.

Never seen it at an LC however, but that's true for many domestics.

Literally one of my favourite beers. The only "cheap" beer worth drinking & more importantly hangover friendly. Basically the same price point as Lucky but as good as Heineken.

Always keep it around for guests.

Maurice for the first time admitted that Laine prefers to play on the left. Said he's a faster player on the right. Not putting Laine with 55 & 26 to get them going. It looked like s good idea in preseason but didn't love it. Just likes PLE too much to **** with that line

Same product, same packaging. I'd generally grab them from the vendor at the Zoo, which closed finally during the holidays, but I know they are also available at the Pemby vendor (Pembina & Jubilee...there's a strip bar there these days) as well as the vendor at the old Grant (Grant @ Pembina).

I think it prices out per 6 pack about a dollar more than the worst beer on the planet, Lucky.

I correct cheapos in line all the time to spent the extra loonie & save the headache the next morning.

Took the time to call the Grant (I guess it's a Days Inn these days). They have "Old Style Pilsner" in stock in:
-8 pack cans ($14.60)
15 pack cans ($27.50)
12 bottles (didn't ask price)

They informed prices just went up as of Monday this week on all beer in their store. Likely true everywhere.

I'm not sure I agree with that. What I took from it was PLE is a line he loves and the Lowry/Copp matchup line is also not being f***ed with.

It is nice to get to see Petan in the lineup a bit more. We probably won't have a real must win game until April. So getting a few starts to see how his game has come along will be good.

Scheifele in his first game back makes me think we are taking this one
