I don't like pseudo retro moshed with a modern thing when it doesn't even have anything to do with that teams history.
at the very least, design a 1948 plane

This is a nice jersey, especially for a franchise that's had some of the worst jerseys in the league their entire existence, at least considering the Thrashers/Jets2.0.

This is easily their 2nd best set, behind only the blue/red/white heritage jerseys

I think it looks really sharp, but I'd love to see what it would look like had they tweaked the modern logo a bit to fit the retro aesthetic.

Baby blue uniforms are inherently ugly, though. There are no issues whatsoever with the logo, but the overall impression is a conflicting mess because it's too busy with various different lines and stripes,

Winnipeg has a big military history, especially with the RCAF which the Jets 2.0 is based off of. This new jersey definitely has a old school vibe and absolutely paying homage to the RCAF, RCAF families, etc. Having a family member in the military for many years, I respect the tribute.

Overall, the uniform is just alright for me, but I don't get all the complaining about the logo.

The current logo is based on the original RCAF logo to begin with.

It would look way more out of place if they slapped the Selanne-era logo on this thing for no reason.
