Why do people keep thinking he's going to Minnesota?
Why would they do anything other than give McCarthy his shot?

I think it's just people being funny about Rodgers taking the Favre track from GB to the Jets and then to Vikings, I don't think they actually believe it'll happen. Why do people keep thinking he's going to Minnesota?

The bad news is that if he retires this summer that just means he’s one year closer to entering politics.I truly hope I never have to hear another word out of that f***ing moron's mouth. Go away forever.

The right move
People will point to his stats as an excuse but he was garbage. Painfully slow and that locker room needs a breath of fresh air. Mr R was throwing everyone left and right under the bus and his body language was absolutely terrible on the field
Just not worth it anymore
He really wasn't. Your're just letting your personal/political view of him get in the way.
QB play didn't sink the jets last year and wasn't why they were a bad team. They had issues in virtually every single facet of the game. Jet's also led the league in drops. Rodgers put the ball on receivers many times only for them to be dropped.
Him going on Pat Macafee/podcasts and talking about non-football shit and airing out team details is annoying, and idk if it's worth it to sign him for that at this point but he did have some game left in him.
No, BB was right. Rodgers' politics are well down the list of why he is poison but the guy is poison, period. He really wasn't. Your're just letting your personal/political view of him get in the way.

This. He must go to the Vikings to complete the circle.
Rodgers ego won't allow him to make a low salary. The non rookie QB contract starters are:
Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow, Jackson, Watson, Allen, Tua, Prescott, Hurts, Goff, Love, Cousins, Carr, Mayfield, Geno Smith, Stafford, Murray.
I think each one is making $30 million plus in real money in 2025. Rodgers was due $37.5 mill from the Jets before getting cut.
With all of his baggage, would a team commit $30 mill to him in 2025? How committed is he now to learn the playbook and build that chemistry with his WR?
I can hardly think of anyone I'd less want around McCarthy than Rodgers. He is the opposite of a mentor.This. He must go to the Vikings to complete the circle.

Aaron to Pittsburgh seems wrong af. It's not an organizational fit.
He could be a stopgap for a year or two until they find a younger better QB. But if forced to pick between Fields, Rodgers and Wilson I would go Fields. He's the youngest and has shown he can play in this league somewhat. Start him for a year or so, draft another QB
That is also assuming he plays ball with Tomlin and keeps his head down and doesn't make it about him. Aaron is one of the worst drama queens in the league. Signing him to an organization like Pitt who has habitually avoided attention seekers is not a right fit
Rodgers doesn't fit in with Tomlin's team culture philosophyThey don't avoid them, they manufacture them on nearly a yearly basis, usually at the WR spot
Rodgers doesn't fit in with Tomlin's team culture philosophy
We'll see. If they're willing to sacrifice their team philosphy to "win now"and yet reports are they are going to talk to him
lol what culture? That is dead and gone.Rodgers doesn't fit in with Tomlin's team culture philosophy
