Gotta admit, little disappointed with Yager's production since the trade. I thought he was going to explode in Lethbridge.

Better team, more competition for the puck and for TOI.

If he had played the same number of games with them that their leading scorer has, he would be the leading scorer, with a 9 pt lead.

I was wondering what TOI was like for him there.
Lethbridge isn't an offensive team at all. Best defensive team in the league though but I was shocked to see them make a trade for Yager.
That's fair. I still thought with a better overall team though and better players around him we'd see a jump in offense.

Well, the kid does have 2 goals in the first 10 minutes of the game vs Calgary today. That's something.
:D

Edit: Make that a 1st period hat trick.

Has Walton really gone cold or has his usage changed that much?
He is all over the ice without accomplishing much,it seems he feels that he has it made, although I have ony watched about 7 or 8 games his game has changed and it coincided with musty return, but I don't know what to make of that, maybe it's nothing

Something to be said about getting used to your line mates, lethbridge is also a defensive team.but let see in the playoffs when things happen or don't.

Lethbridge have scored 45 goals in the 14 games since Yager was traded, an average of 3.2 goals per game.

That's the same rate of goals for as they've averaged for the season as a whole: 155 goals in 48 games, which is 3.2 goals per game. Lethbridge are well below average in team scoring for the WHL: 16th of 22 teams.

Yager has 7 goals and 14 assists for 21 points in those 14 games for Lethbridge. 21 points from his team's 45 goals is a 46.67% rate of goal involvement -- which is very high.

Just for scale, if the Jets had a player putting up a G/A in 46.67% of the team's goals this year, that player would have 91 points already -- 24 points more than Kyle Connor's team leading total of 67 points.

So Lethbridge isn't scoring much as a team, but Yager is having a major impact on their offensive production over the last 14 games.

Yes but as I posted it was four in 20. So that hatrick definitely helped.
