Couple of gripes with the game after about five hours. Feels a bit like you're thrown off the deep end with the perk points. I've got my head around the system but it's hard at the outset to know exactly what could compliment my style of play.

Otherwise I just find far away enemies very hard to see but that will probably change when I find enough to craft some decent scopes n ****.

So I called Canada Post today, turns out all the positions have been filled.

After yesterday, this news is a real dick punch. Turns out it was only going to be temporary, but still...it sucks.

Fallout 4 is spectacular.
I'm so glad that after waiting for years Bethesda didn't disappoint.

Shhhhhhh! I'm trying not to buy it right away :)

Got Black Ops 3 last week and want to get Battlefront next week. If I get Fallout right away I won't be able to... and won't be able to I mean I will be eating ramen for a week when I do get them all

That doesn't even take into consideration Rainbow 6 and Tomb Raider!!! I need to be rich and unemployed :)

Tomb Raider looks bloody great too. I'll be passing on Star Wars though.

I was there earlier this fall - be patient, it will work out!

I find the lack of single-player campaign disturbing.

Most of the gaming I do nowadays is either co-op games, or story-driven single-player RPG's. I'm pumped about the Star Wars movie though so maybe I'll pick up Battlefront regardless.

I'm torn between playing Fallout 4 and Legend of Heroes : Trails in the Sky SC right now. Both games are scratching an itch, so it's hard to balance playing time. The story in SC is awesome, but Fallout is Fallout.

Once you start Fallout you're down the rabbit hole. Damn the new settlement system.

Fallout 4 buggyness on a scale of 1 -10?
I've never played any of the fallouts, but it does sound interesting. elder scrolls online seems to be dying down so I guess I need to find a new winding down activity.

I decided to re-roll my Fallout 4 character as a female. A few things:

-Hair physics. Wow. I'm shocked that Bethesda sought to include them. I expected the hair to react like a helmet in this game.
-Dresses have real physical properties and are animated in 3D space, as opposed to just a wire-frame model to go around your character. 3D animation and textures have come a long way since Fallout 3. >_>

Missed the Jets game to play Fallout 4 last night.

I can safely say about a quarter of my time has been spent exploring and doing quests, while the rest has either been character creation, modding weapons, and building up Sanctuary.

Fantastic game so far.

I haven't seen or heard of any gamebreaking bugs bit there's the typical weird Bethesda bugs of people standing in the middle of objects or flying away. It's perfectly playable in my experience.

I haven't seen any real game-breaking glitches or bugs so far, but the camera does get wonky during build mode in Sanctuary when you scroll out an object. I haven't figured out exactly what causes it to happen, but when you use your mouse wheel to adjust the placement of an item in relation to your body, it moves slowly and automatically in the direction you spun the mouse wheel, and won't stop until you spin the other way, in which case it will continuously move in that direction.

Haven't had anything to bad yet. Seems like the biggest problems have been fixed with the day one patch.

To everyone playing Fallout 4:

[spoil]You saw the cryogun in the vault? You normally can't get it until you reach level 18 and put your points into one of the lock-picking skills. Or you use a loophole thanks to dogmeat. Return to the vault with dogmeat, go to the gun and interact with dogmeat. Tell him to search for something useful and he'll casually grab the gun out of it's case.

It seems to be the best gun in the game apparently so use it wisely. Word is you won't be able to buy more ammo until you meet the vendor at Drumlin Diner. If you want to get it, better hurry. Bethesda might fix this with the next patch since I don't think it's intended to work that way.[/spoil]

Yeah my experience has been pretty bugless apart from some stupid camera angles. And Preston hanging in midair for a few seconds after fast travel to the museum.

My friend on the Xbone says his experience is far more buggy.

Well I just got on part time at my GFs work. LA Fitness. It's a start and working in a gym is something I've wanted to do for awhile. Now hoping for UPS to call and set up an interview.

I have Black Ops for my multiplayer fix, and strangely enough a bunch of my friends are playing GTA again all of the sudden. I was going to wait, get Battlefront next week and hold off on Fallout for a month or so but I think I'm going to get Fallout for my single player needs and wait on Battlefront. Lots of my friends are taking a wait and see attitude on that game and I don't want it to be another Titanfall (multiplayer game that none of my friends play)
