Post-Game Talk: Jets lose to that team 4-1, that team still sucks

Very unhappy with tonight's game.

Team doesn't look like it has a hot clue what it's supposed to be doing in most situations. Special teams still look like the same static/passive crap we've seen for years. I get that we are only 5 games I'm so ill be patient t for another 10 or so games.
I don't know why Wheeler keeps getting tabbed for the 1st pp unit over Perfetti who is now tied for the team scoring lead.

Wheeler looks friggin awful, lost a step, no an F’n staircase, can’t skate, shoot, handle the puck, can only make a pass 5v4, retire already!

The pro-Leafs commentary on CBC was nauseating.

Virtually every stoppage they're talking about Matthews or some Leafs player.

Morrissey's hit compared to one that injured Bobby Orr was rediculous.

Can't wait until the Leafs are eliminated in the playoffs again

Jets didn't give them much to work with to be fair.

Yes, Ehlers is injured but you put someone else up there on your top line that is not named Appleton with some skill. When has he ever shown first line skills even once? It's insane he is playing up there. Wheeler on the second line is ridiculous but that's been beaten to death at this point and won't change until he's fully gone. The list goes on.

I also thought Rick was going to coach progressively. Where did all this talk go about getting teams to adapt to us. If anything he's been more reactive than Moe.

4 on 4 when every other team plays its skilled players we play our checking line because we are afraid of other teams players.

It's been apparent for years now that Lowry can no longer hang with tough comp and yet we keep going back to that well.

We did much better after the second line took that assignment the back half of that game.

Appleton playing on the top line is a consequence of Chevy's inability to find adequate replacements for the likes of Copp and Stats. This team's 3rd and 4th line are among the worst in the league.

And who from the bottom 6 would you suggest?
I mean really, Lowry is not moving from 3C so that leaves a collection of guys that are not even close to being worthy of anyones first line.

Like it or not but Appleton is the best option and has had some good games.
