He doesn't. It's blind loyalty

Unfortunately. TNSE is more interested in growing their group and downtown presence.

They can keep making all the roster changes they want but when every other prospective player sees they're keeping the coach with the most losses in league history and extremely mediocre .527 record, it's very obvious they aren't serious about winning anymore.

I feel like the major networks know this as well but are, I suppose, cautious on being blackballed by them if they call them out on it.

Copp should have shot it at the net. His pass made Scheifele pull up. Scheifele then did a little move and Connor just blew past everyone. None of the three were making the right play

Quesnel, B.C.
Well, It never feels nice being on another teams highlight reel. Hopefully the guys can keep their mental and use it push harder next game. Dang that stung.
Nicely said. I wish I could use as much self restraint as you in a moment like this. I try not to complain & do my best to step back and take the longview.

However, some of the Lineup choices were poor, as others have mentioned.

I truly believe that the Team which GM Chevy has now built has outgrown Coach Maurice.

Of course there is accountability on the part of the Players. If this is a chemistry issue and will take more time over the next few Games to figure out, then I’m happy to be proven wrong.

We’ll see, but today was extremely frustrating to watch the lineup decisions and then actual usage.

I still hold with my appreciation of what GM Chevy did over this Summer. I just think he has one more big decision to make in order for this Team to reach its potential.

Hopefully he’ll see the light soon

Ehlers was invisible. Scheifele was his usual self...cheating for offense and disinterested in defending.

I thought we were getting mugged and interfered with like crazy tonight, but the refs weren't making those calls and we never reciprocated, so it bit us.

is there ANYONE not on the Jets payroll that still thinks Maurice is a good coach? Get that bum out of here

The mental gymnastics by some of his supporters at this point to justify his place behind the bench is Olympic level stuff.

Guys. How many years do you need to witness the same flaming pile of garbage (personnel usage, M2M defense, special teams, etc.) trotted out by this dinosaur coach before you finally say enough is enough?

There were a lot of reasons to feel excited about this roster coming into the season. Hell, the national media was even hyping this group up.

Unfortunately, they forgot about the guy behind the bench who holds the keys and runs a Corvette like a Pinto.

Going nowhere with this guy fast. f***.

Same same old man to man in the D zone guys just running all over the place. Looks like a 3 stooges movie out there and the puck is all over the place

I am not sure I can keep watching this shit show lol

I'm at a loss to name another team in the NHL that runs this system to anywhere near the same degree as us. That right there should tell you all you need to know about the scheme....

It’s a problem when kfc is your best player as he should be 4th or later. Ehlers, Schief, Helly all need to be better as all have more smarts and ability.

More smarts and ability? What are you basing that opinion on - intuition?
