As a jets fan I'd do that if stone is gonna extend here simply because as a right hand shot, rosie could be odd man out. Also decimates our LHD prospect depth. Would rather ves over Rosie and only one of those two d prospects (ideally stanley). Depends on what Chevy has lined up for a return on trouba because if stone signs, I think it means trouba is gone for futures/elc's

Pass. We are getting Stone as a rental than resigning. Rentals do not go for 1st liners. Rentals always go for a good prospect a 1st and a 2nd. Karlsson was generational not Stone.

There's no way for him to sign with the Jets before he's traded. It's a rental, that's all that can be traded. Signing comes after. There can be parts of the trade conditional to that, but how can you have a player sign a contract with one team when part of another? The trade as proposed makes zero sense.

Turris signed after he was traded. What relation did that have to the trade?
