2pm lads and lasses. Hope you’re awake for this one.

Hoping for another win over the Jets. Need to rebound quickly to get my positive holiday vibe on.

Nothing posted yet, and I mean nothing!

This is on TSN... wonder who will be doing the pxp and colour? Gord and Mike are in Ottawa for the WJC... short flight though so maybe they are doing a back and forth...

Fingers crossed Joe gets the TV call. Little chance I know.
The Jets crew or the Habs crew. I remember they asked Dennis Beyak to do the PBP when Miller wasn't available one night.

I don't believe AM is playing, Treliving is more than happy with our roster and thrilled that Kampf will be playing second line centre in AM's place.
After all, he signed Kampf to a 4 year deal with limited no trade provisions.
Kampf must have pictures of the entire sports organiztion board to get a crazy deal like that.
sigh.

Kampf is a Marner in the rough I tell ya. We just need to give him time and space and try and match him up against 4th liners. Then we will all be treated to this hidden phenom.

Kampf is the answer

Probably an L. They will want to get back at us for the last game.

Without Mathews, gonna be tough. Our schedule has been rough with a lot of games the last few weeks

There’s nothing better for them than beating us, so ofcourse they will give 110% we got to be up for it.

Because it's the game before Xmas, or something else? I'm flying in for this one, been a while.
Afternoon game, always have 4 for this one so I don’t have to pick which daughter to bring. Unfortunately my wife couldn’t come today so I’m escorting two 18 year old and a 21 year old girls.

We’ll see if they grab the bill at lunch.

I am off work today so I should be finally be able to catch the full 60 minutes. Hope the buds come out to play today.

Any news if Matthews is good to go? also who is in net for us?

EDIT: thanks to the folks who put info about Matthews and our starter @AvroArrow @Fogelhund @Burnie97

Hopefully Matthews heals quickly and Woll's last outing was an outlier. Lets get the 2 points today!!!

This is starting to look like he is going to regret taking 4yrs extension.
Doubt it, financially he can live happily ever after, it’s not like when guys needed summer jobs or another career once their playing days entered. Similar to lacrosse, cfl and most MLS soccer players today. As for his and the teams accomplishments on ice, contract length has no bearing.

Eh, maybe so, but hypothetically if injuries cut his career short, he's potentially left 36-48M on the table at minimum (assuming he signed an additional 3-4 years and maybe lowered his cap hit closer to 12-12.5M). And even if he's still playing at a decent level but regresses from his peak (which can definitely happen) he may still make less than had he locked in for those extra 4 years.
