Injury Report: Jets health in the playoffs

Obviously, you don't want to give St. Louis more powerplays and as we've seen, the refs are SO HORNY to give the Jets penalties, but I'd love to see, especially if the Jets get up by a couple or few goals, that some of these turds answer, particularily for the way they've been taking liberties with Schiefele.

Imagine if Ehlers was in this series? He might actually be murdered by now.
All true - and, as usual, clear and perceptive thoughts from you!!

Good grief, its biblical goodness.

Figured as much. I'd put Iafallo on line 2 with Cole and Vlad.
Agreed.

I think reuniting Nino with Lowry and Appleton might get that group going a bit to be a scoring threat, which they aren't right now.

Also allows a 4th line of Tanev, Barron and either Anderson-Dolan (my preference) or Gus. That's a good shift disturbing line.

Seems like that is exactly what happened in practice today. But they are keeping Schenn in.... I guess they feel they can shelter him more at home.

If he's on the ice now, taking casual reps, I think He might be back for Like Game 3 or 4 of round 2.

(Obviously IF we even make it there)
I think he might be ready before then. Maybe the start of round 2... or even game 7 if needed

Lower body injuries like a foot/ankle are less likely to be affected by contact than, say, a shoulder

Once he's in game shape, I think he'll be in

I really wish they would sit him, easily our worst D man this series, that and Miller seems to really play a strong playoff style of game, seems ridiculous not to play him over Schenn but the choices on third pair this season have never been ideal and doubt they will start making the right choices now.

Would be awesome if he is ready for game 7 if we get there, with a full line up and playing that Jets shut down style hockey we will bury them.

Ehlers maybe being back for round 2 is huge if the Jets can find a way to get through this round.

Both teams would have major boosts if they make it to second round

Us, Ehlers - returns our fwd group balance, our best lineup, 50+ pts back in, and *the* key cog for our 1st place regular season PP. our pp has suffered in his absence a fair bit. he is also arguably our most dynamic o zone driver.

Blues, Holloway - makes them even tougher and more balanced throughout their fwd lineup than they already are, he’s their biggest motor player and is a proven playoff performer - he performed very well in playoffs last year

Anyone who thinks ehlers won't play this series is a god darn bafoon... i think max he sits out one more game.. however I think there's a decent shot he gets back in there tomorrow night if morning practice goes smoothly... the guy is eager to go and just waiting for that green light.. he was skating hard in practice and the fact he's in a yellow contact jersey tomm tells me he is just about ready to roll...

Arniel ain't showing his hand.. he had big grin on his face whenever Ehlers name was mentioned. Didn't really want to say much when discussing ehlers status.. just he's in yellow contact jersey tomm.. and that he's surprised he wasn't in it today
