Injury Report: Jets health in the playoffs

I'm guessing it'll be JAD
I think JAD got a goal he's good for another one. Arniel likes Gus in a backup role. Barron and Kupari had some good offensive zone shifts to start the season. Made the identity speed and grind 4th line. I'd believe Scotty would like more identity from them. JAD is probably more capable of filling Iafallo's role than Gus is.

If I had my wish, I’d wish for the Jets to win in 7 games, just to get some of our troops back.

I think if you can win by playing less than 7 games that would be more beneficial than the series going the distance. Doesn’t the second round not start until all first round series are done? and odds are that one (or more) series go 7 games. For example, wouldn’t you rather have us win in 5 and then have the avs/stars go 7 games instead? I feel like that would amount to the same outcome re: giving the injured players more time to get back into the lineup.

Gus is by far the weakest forward.

He comes out when Gabe goes in. AA goes to the forth and it's immediately a far better unit there.

I think depending how game 2 and 3 goes you make a case for Kupari to play for Dolan but he was very good.

Yes, your right- I made a mistake on that post.

I want to talk about Ehlers return, but I'm paranoid that I will jinx the team, considering I'm taking it one game at a time. I am extremely hopeful that Vilardi returns Thursday in St.Louis.
That would be nice to see Vilardi return on Thursday, but considering he’s not skating with the team in practice right now, it’s very unlikely. Be great if he could.

I saw Vilardi skating in the yellows today. He was out there early and stayed skating for quite a long time. He wasn’t going too hard but nothing seemed to be bothering him. It looked positive to me.
Good to hear, and I just read this as well. Maybe he gets back in 7 - 10 days, but nobody seems to know what his injury is.

I wonder if they'd rush Ehlers and/or Vilardi back if say, we were facing elimination, but otherwise they're taking their time.

I don't think think they'll rush either back and they shouldn't. If they are good to go they are good to go. Everyone is usually playing through something in the playoffs. It just comes down to whether they will actually help the team by being in the lineup. Playing hurt is one thing but being detrimental is another. If they come back but have to nurse something and it effects their play because of it then it's better that they are out of the lineup in favour of someone that won't cost us a game because of an injury.
