I predict a 3-2W for Montreal in regulation. Armstrong, Gionta & Diaz with the goals. I think our winning goal with come on the PP like others have mentioned, their PK isn't the greatest. Winnipeg has a decent defense but they lack mobility and some of them aren't that great defensively (I'm looking at you Byfuglien and Hainsey) but Stuart and Bogosian won't make it easy for our forwards to enter the offensive zone. They have some decent players on their top 6 but their bottom 6 is pretty soft, Slater and Ponikarovsky are gritty but they overwhelm physically our defenseman like Elias/Zubrus/Clarkson did last game. Thornburn is their only scrappy guy but I wouldn't worry too much. They have some good power-forwards like Kane and Ladd so let's hope that Kaberle or Weber is not on the ice when they are because it might get ugly in our zone.

* I take blame if we lose since I have yet to post in a GDT this season and I'm a really supersticious guy when it comes to these kind of things.

LOL, Where do you get your insight from, The Hockey News? He hasn't played in ages and won't for a while yet.

I guess Budaj could get a start tommorow. Better secure a win today to make sure we get something out of this b2b. Not that I think Budaj is crap, but he's certainly no Price.

Anyone else have GameCenter and is unable to load any games yet? This is annoying.

You gotta click on the scoreboard at the top of the main page, then go to preview and there you can click on the ''Watch'' button(s). But even then, the game hasn't even started yet for me.

I'd play Budaj tomorrow for sure. At some point he has to get a start and i think the back to back game is the perfect day to start him.

Let me help you... try reading it again:

PS for those of you who think I'm trying to talk trash or anything please don't. I said on the bottom take with a grain of salt. I'm just trying to correct people who aren't reading the full post. It's just a better determiner of competition level than peoples places since it's only been 4/5 games.

Anyways I'm off!
Hope for a great game and I'm hoping we both make it to the playoffs!!

Thanks for the insight, garret! That much research is greatly appreciated and provides us information of a different nature.

Team needs better discipline and some improved consistency from the Desharnais line. Habs 3-2 - 3rd/4th lines, Markov with the points. Can't bet against Markov right now :handclap:

boring game so far!

also, what's with these "keys to the game" bits that all broadcasts do:

Jets - get pucks deep on forecheck
Habs - create turnovers and attack

isn't this obvious %$&@ that all teams should be doing? :dunno:
