He's the perfect 3rd line centre. And Weise/Flash have been fantastic as well.

My only issue is when he is not used in a 3rd line center role... Putting him out in key faceoffs or with minutes left in the game... Makes no sense. The guy excels against weak matchups, and he struggles when the intensity increases. He's not suited to be out in the last few minutes on a tie or defending a 1 goal lead.

I was sick of DD when he was with Max. on the third line he actually plays a more complete game by taking shooting chances himself. Both players are better off apart from each other.
