That looked like a perfectly legal stick lift to me. He lifted Bratts stick from the blade.

Fantastic positioning anyways by whoever did that. He had that stick loft ready before the puck was even on the line

How is it meaningless? Dallas is 6pts behind them and if Dallas gets ahead of them they'll face the avs again in rd 1.

Maybe future considerations. After all, the Devs have ZERO openings at RD for the next THREE years after extending Kovy. Hamilton has a 10 team trade clause, so good luck moving that considering rest of contract.

I think they can move him if they want. I just don't know if they'll want to. Dillon, Siegs, Kovy and Pesce is a pretty moribund source of offense from the blue line. I'm not sure you want to trust Casey or Nemec to pick up that level of slack on the offensive end by moving Dougie.
 
Can’t even get some good fortune in these close gms lately. The crap icing call in Dallas and then this wild sequence of goal line to goal against

Then they probably shouldn't have extended Kovy (who I've always liked btw), right? Especially considering there's no chance he wasn't worth at least a late 1st this deadline. Hence my endless bitching about Fitz constantly making contradictory decisions/moves. I think he's a legitimate moron.

They have 2 full NMCs and a 10 team trade with a huge contract at RD for THREE YEARS. Nemec and Casey can go kick rocks I guess. Can't wait to see the depressed value Fitz gets for 1 or both of them.
