When Tyler Myers was asked this on TV during an interview -- his reply was as follows :
Question -- which one of your Jet's teammates is most likely to get lost in traffic ?
Myer's answer -- Jack Roslovic
Do you have to be smart to be a good hockey player ? or just have good instincts in NHL ? I think Roslovic has been playing well this year, but I missed a couple games lately.
I would think there's a lot of guys in the NHL that aren't to bright, but still good productive players ? but I guess it doesn't hurt to have a fast working processor on your shoulders.
Should add -- there probably is quite a difference between hockey smarts ( hockey IQ) and an academic IQ -- I think Gretzky's biggest asset was his "brain" and how fast he processed the game.
