We can call it a successful road trip. Jets started playing better once they were able to break through the neutral zone. Coyotes trapped it up for most of the game, but couldn't hold off the transition and speed the Jets were finally able to generate. Flipping Dubois and Fefe finally sparked something in that top six. After a forgettable last game, Samberg had himself a quiet good game tonight.

Great no look pass by PLD to freeze the goalie so Wheeler could bury it.

Good game however against a bad opponent. I would really like to see the Jets carry the puck through the NZ more instead of dump and chasing.

That would require them to play with more tempo. By the time they're ready to transition up the ice, the other team has already set up their 1-2-2 passive forecheck. That almost always results in them dumping it in. Still not sure if that's part of the system they are trying to play.

Tonight's effort gets 3/5 Hammers, Big Save Dave as a back up came in a did enough to keep the team in it, Scheifele is on a mission, KFC squeezing the stick, 4th line played well and the x cappy contributed.
