Post-Game Talk: Jets buffalo Buffalo - 7:4 Final

Good 1st and 2nd, sloppy third. Good road win, nevertheless. Still 1st in the Division, 2nd in the Conference, and 3rd overall.

We need a double like feature, one for the standings, one for the Ric Flair gif.

Lowry please come back. The team misses his stabilizing presence in their own zone (although Copp has done an admirable job filling in).

With Copp showing himself capable of running a 3rd line up the middle, I think the Jets should consider putting Lowry in the middle on the "1st line" and moving Wheeler back to RW. I would atleast try that, Copp is showing signs that he can hold his own with Armia on his wing. Lets give Lowry a shot on the top offensive line and see if that adds some defense to that top line.

I just don’t get people singling laine out in this game. We must have watched a different game?

Im singling out laine because he is the reason i am watching hockey... i have seen what type of player he can be and i want to see him move towards that. I know the road will be bumpy but he will get there. He had too many moments of disengaged play and thats why i bring it up. From what i saw he had the least impact 5v5 this game hence i single him out.

Here are a couple of examples- On the PP he tries to carry the puck through the NZ and turns it over resulting in a odd man chance the other way. In the 3rd with a fair amount of time on o-zone to make a play waits too long, paints himself in a corner gets pressured along the blueline turns it over resulting in a breakaway (his bacon is saved by a backchecking Buff), a play eerily similar to his happened in the sharks game as well (but Buff didn't backcheck as hard on that one). Then tries to hit Nolan at the defensive blueline only for Nolan to dodge the check and get behind him for a scoring chance.. Not involved in the play in the d-zone in general (similar to Connor).
Fair enough he didn’t play a perfect game, but we can do that for everyone on the team.
