How in the world do two guys go after the same guy. I can see a mistake once in awhile but this happens on a regular bases all the ****en time. Oh and the third Jet coming in the pic is Scheifele.

Yup, they are horrendously coached. They were back to full on M2M and where chasing players all around the dzone. Just a joke across the board with this team.

The current jersey rumour for next season is that most teams are getting another reverse retro. Possible that they use that logo but the colour scheme might be different.

Personally given that terrible replica 80s jersey from Fanatics I wouldn't be surprised at all if they go with the 80s jersey with a different colour scheme.

Schmidt has to go and I'd take a 5th rounder for him. Has some O savvy but we can get enough O from JMo, Pionk and Heinola. Worse than Myers in his own end.

I'd also move Dillon.

Copper, Dillon, Stastny, and Schmidt should bring back a nice haul and I'd take nothing for Boolow. He should never see the ice in a Jets uni again.

We need someone to play with JMo and we need some good 3rd line players. Chevy should be able to adress some of that with trades at the TDL and the rest in the summer.

This team frickin pisses me right off.

Our pro scouting is a disaster isn't it. I can't think of 1 pro hockey player we've brought in who overachieved over 10 years besides Stastny who cost us a 1st.

Dubois, Pionk etc... They have found some good players but they seem to find pure crap often when it comes to depth forwards.

Well Maurice did teach Lowry his system ... I guess Lowry was a slow learner.

Yeah I am sure there was some input from the amateur group on those but with Dubois he was a 4th year player so I don't see how the amateur side would have been of much value then. I can see the Pionk angle as they wanted him out of college as a FA.

Here's what I see from these Jets:

1) your highest paid center in Wheeler - "invisible" get rid of him, and see what you can get for him. This guy should be a plug and play 3rd liner, making 3mil per year tops.

2) Scheifele - plays with no heart -- see what you can get in a trade for him.

3) Stastny - getting too old, let him walk at year's end.

4) Maybe trade off Schmidt and Dillon, and go with our young guys like Samberg, and Chisholm.

5) Don't be worried about making it into the playoffs, but let's get the highest pick possible, and "rebuild" this team with youth.

6) Think seriously about bringing in a Finnish coach, and European staff, that teach defensive hockey.

Right now, it's very obvious, we're like an AHL team playing an NHL powerhouse. Time to rebuild this team with youth and picks.
